    How to Process a Toshiba Warranty

    Step 1: Verify Warranty Status

    • Parts Covered: Circuit Board, HDD & Laser Scanner Unit
    • Length of Warranty: 3 Year Warranty
    • Replacement Cost Exceeds $100.00 (New Parts Cost)
    • Warranty Type:
      • Machine Warranty – Original Part Failure; claim against Machine Serial number
      • Part Warranty – Replacement Part Failure; claim against Toshiba Invoice for Part

    Step 2: Place Order Online with Hytec

    • HDD Replacement Stock – Select Direct Sale Service Type for Quantity Required
    • Repair & Return Service – Optional Advance Repair & Return Order Creator Tool
    • Advance Exchange Service – Upgrade Warranty with Advance Exchange Service Type; Exchange Fee & Air Shipping Cost applies

    Step 3: Create Toshiba Warranty Claim Number – NEW ONLINE TOOL

    • Search by Order Number Created Online
    • Select Warranty Type either Machine or Part Warranty
    • Enter Required Data (Machine Model, Serial Number and/or Toshiba Invoice Number)
    • Enter Warranty Failure Data
    • Submit Claim
    • Hytec will verify Claim and apply to coordinating order number
    • View Claim Number & Status of Claim Online

    Benefits of Online Claim Tool –

    Easy HDD Replacement Request eliminates the need to return HDDs to Hytec to complete claim. Claim system will validate HDD replacement by using HDD serial number along with Machine serial number.

    Eliminates the need to print and include forms for repair & return and advance exchange cores. All entry can be done online and linked to your order.

    Allows for tracking of claims with claim ID and reporting capability for dealers.
