Repair Services

Hytec provides repair of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assembly, Displays/Touch Panels and Power Supplies. Hytec’s expertise since 1981 in repair of PCB and imaging products expands to multiple industries with a long history of customer driven service solutions to provide best in class aftermarket & field service support.

Every board brought into our warehouses is serialized and tracked, ensuring we’re always aware of its status. Each board’s serial number gives our repair department a detailed analysis of the board’s repair history. Our quality management process provides each technician detailed work instructions to follow for consistent and quality-driven repairs, streamlining the diagnosis and repair process. These detailed procedures allow all repairs to be repaired within 5 days.

Service Programs

Hytec has worked with multiple manufacturers and national service organizations since 1981 to develop smooth and efficient distribution and reverse logistic solutions for products placed in the field. We have the solutions to enhance the service organizations support of products that have failed in the field.

Repair & Return

For the repair and return service option, your defective parts are sent directly to Hytec, repaired, and returned to your location. All repaired boards come with a one-year warranty, and 90 days on electro-mechanical assemblies.

Core Bank Program

Hytec manages customer-owned inventory and ships as required by the next business day direct to the field. Best for multi-location field service operations.

Advance Exchange

When you place an advance exchange order, a repaired part is sent to you the same day along with a prepaid return shipping label for the return of the defective part. Our advanced exchange service allows 30 days to return a repairable core.

We encourage you to package your parts with ESD protection and ship to Hytec. Please include a copy of your Advance Repair & Return Order or a Purchase Order identifying the parts inside the box. It is helpful to include the failure information on each part. We accept all shipping carriers on inbound shipments and utilize Fedex on outbound shipments. Unless noted, we will ship Fedex Ground service and add freight charges to your order.
